  1. Francois, it has been sold 1000 euros(hammer price) right now.
  2. Hello , I personnally no have any idea on this tosho tsuba design. Could you bring your views to me ? Thank you Bruno
  3. A suaka one, currently on Ebay
  4. Yes John, This Kozuka was made when Noriyuki (2nd generation) was 76. Knowing he died at 82 in 1852, in deduction the kozuka was made in 1846. Thank you Bruno
  5. Please, I have the signature (NoriYuki) but what is the meaning of the 4 first Kanji: 70 years old ? Thank you Bruno
  6. Brian, all tsuba are quite nice depending on taste, and collection objectives. Personally #5 ito sukashi looks nice to me.
  7. Thank you so much Carlos! Once again NMB members are plenty of resources! Thank you also Dale for the Haynes reference!
  8. Apparently this tsuba is signed Omori Teru Tomo. My problem: I don't find any tsubako signing with those kanji (in Omori school or any other school). What are your views ? Thank you Bruno
  9. Just to revert to the initial topic. Another raining man (running ?)
  10. Thank you Ray. I thought a little stroke was in addition but you might be right!
  11. Please, can you confirm this date is 1423 (Oei San Ju Nen) ? Thank you Bruno
  12. Plenty of exemples and explanations in this thread :
  13. Barry, my personnel guess is that this kozuka is signed 楽々斎一壽 Rakurakusai IchiJu (Haynes H 01700.0) from the Ishiguro school but I bought it as signed by KazuToshi (I didn't find an artist with these kanji in Haynes). Should it be signed by Goto Ichijo the price I paid would have tripled ! Bruno
  14. A kozuka of mine with the same topic.....
  15. Hi Clive, Seems a good catch! I think I have found my Bonji! Thanks a lot
  16. Thank you Russ! I think you might be right. Another hypothesis given by a member is Kosansei Myo O .
  17. Hi, I didn't succeeded in finding a meaning on this bonji. Can someone give me a clue? Thank you.
  18. Peter I had this tsuba in hands and this shape has been done on purpose. My personnal opinion would consider this tsuba as a tachi one. I really like your opinion of a kind of Namban interpretation of a european rapiers.
  19. Hi my friends, please let me know your views on this very funny shape tsuba. I guess it is quite old with an Onin style. But all information on this very specific tsuba are welcome
  20. Thank you Piers ! Unfortunatly the tsuba I have in this box has nothing to do with Echizen school....
  21. Hello NMB friends, please can you give me the meaning of this Hakogaki kanji ? Thank you
