  1. you did ok on the frist sword buy, one really cant tell till you get it in hand for sure. John T lives in your state, id look him up in the above links he can get both done for you i belive.
  2. I emailed the seller half way thru the auction, he was very confused to say the least, he had many letters saying that it was a fake. He bought the lot of flag, glasses, the sword with the belt and some other items....all that sounded like it was on the up. I think someone took him by taking out a good sword and adding the crapper. Its a sad day when he let it get out of hand the way it did. There's the chance that he was the one, but it did not sound that way to me.
  3. it worked, see pix in wanted/for sale board
  4. but its about a nihonto file....i need help on how to change a pdf file to jpg or bif so i can reduce it to post pix of the Kanenori tachi mounts, I can only it up in Acribat Reader and cant fig how to reduce size as it wont post in the for sale board. Thanks
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/SIGNED-Japanese-NAV ... dZViewItem This is just a bit off for me to believe its true Japanese sword...fittings yes blade and habaki no. Tell me what you see or have I been sword gazing to much on Ebay. If I'm right someone's into it a bit hard even for a general tassel.
  6. if the price is low id buy if for the sword itself and not the mei. here is a scan from the yoran.
  7. always demand more, i belive that goes for the holes too.

    shin gunto

it might be this kanji on the right...i really cant see from the pix. This was a lession from the Osensi Condell i wish he was still in the loop. Koichi could this be it?
  9. from Omura sama....i had ask before Moriyama sama posted the Kanenori....anyway for what its worth. Thank you for the connection. One swordsmith Kanetake is in the time of a Shin-to. He is a swordsmith of Seki. His evaluation is an inner top. The truth or falsehood of the Mei of the photograph which I received are not known. It is worthy if this is a genuine article. Sincerely yours. Tomoyuki Ohmura
