Help with Tanobe sensei sayagaki

Hello guys,

 

I'm looking at the attached part of Tanobe sensei sayagaki. It is for a yamato shizu blade and while I got the parts about length etc. I struggle with this section.

 

Any help highly appreciated and thank you in advance!

It says...It was a dark and stormy night, with less than a hour of the clock striking 12...

 

 

Of course im being silly. It just looks like a short story.

Tanobe san sayagaki?  Unless I am mistaken it doesn't appear to be his.  I am often wrong, sometimes.  Peace.
