Hi,  I have a fuchi kashira set on a nice koto blade. I was wondering if anyone could interpret the theme of what is going on please?

 On a serious note, probably reading the Buddhist sutra's based on the fuchi (Sanskrit?)

Despite the fuzzy shots I get a strong feeling (especially from the classical Chinese clothing) of Chōhi and the oath in the peach garden.

Looks like he's reading a parchment.

Fukurokuju is often depicted with a scroll, and the pyramid shaped item on the fuchi is his backpack? Anyway, check him out and see what you think.

I think this might be it Geraint. Didn't realise before that the fuchi is showing a backpack rather than an open scroll.

Seems to be Benkei on the kashira reading the fake subscription list at the Ataka barrier.

The hat on the fuchi could hint to Yoshitsune in disguise. The other detail seems to be a barrow used for traveling.

When you say barrow, it does indeed look like a seoibitsu armo(u)r chest with shoulder straps. (Nearly bought one just last week!)
