ROKUJURO Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 Bruno, that looks like TSUNEKIYO, AKAO school. 1 Quote
Kurikata Posted April 22 Author Report Posted April 22 Thank you Jean and Uwe for your help. Unfortunatly I didn't find in my books any TSUNEKIYO, EISEI or TSUNEHARU (One of my guesses) from akao school with those Kanji. Another mystery..... Quote
lonely panet Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 Could ne akao ito school?? Sign just the same but is considered separate from akao by some books Quote
Bugyotsuji Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 Bruno, I spent some time checking my books but although there are other possible readings, Eisei is still most likely. Sadly nothing in my Kinko book, but could be a later disciple of one of the listed 栄 Ei artisans. 2 Quote
Kurikata Posted April 22 Author Report Posted April 22 Thank you Piers, Haynes lists at EISEI (栄清) that the two kanji can be read as Shigekiyo or even Hidekiyo (Haynes 00450.0) . Not sure he is the same guy. 1 1 Quote
