Yeah, but the scale of it indicates it is a miniature sword...boy's or dedication etc. Not a useable sword I think.

Not with a width of 3,28 cm at the hamachi, this width is larger than most katana’s

considering from his title Taikei, ... his birthday was probably july 15 th. Only read this from Tsuruta san.

I think their dimensions are wrong. If that width is right, there is no way that blade is 32cm long. Maybe 42...
Measure on screen and do some calcs.

Doesn't the paper say Nagasa is 1 shaku, 7 sun?  That would be 51.51 cm or 20.28 inches.

 

I don't usually do Nihonto papers so I might be incorrect.

Pete is correct, in their Japanese site they have the length correct in Japanese numbers 1 Shaku 7 sun but they have made error when converting it to cm's (they accidentally have it as 1 shaku 0 sun 7 bu).
