Bochavista Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 For sale is a rare 1875 pattern Type 19 Field Grade Kyu-gunto. It’s a match to page 79 of Dawson’s book. The blade length is 26”, with an overall length of approximately 33 1/4”. The blade is unsigned. I will attach a ton of pics but if you want something more specific, please let me know. Asking $1,300 USD plus shipping, PayPal only. I’m located in Wisconsin. Thanks for looking, Chris B Quote
kyushukairu Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Hello Chris, is the blade traditionally made? Quote
Bochavista Posted October 26, 2017 Author Report Posted October 26, 2017 I am not sure. I posted it in Military Swords group and a couple people had said it looked like a ‘practical’ blade because of the hamon and nakago. I know that it is sharp. If there any other photos that could help confirm or deny this let me know and I’ll snap them. Thanks, Chris Quote
Bochavista Posted October 26, 2017 Author Report Posted October 26, 2017 I wanted to add some pics, from a couple of requests. Also wanted to add that I will ship internationally for cost. Thanks for the interest, Ch Quote
Ray Singer Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Certainly appears to be a nice hand-made blade. With a little Photoshop magic, hakkikake and a prominent masame-hada: 1 Quote
