CSM101 Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Once again I feel very helpless. I have signed kurigata and I can´t find the kanji. I count seven strokes and then it is maybe a KUNI. But what does that mean then? I hope you can can help me with the correct translation. Thank you Uwe G. Quote
cabowen Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I could be wrong but perhaps it is a kao? Quote
CSM101 Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 This is very possible. Because all parts match each other. Some more pics... And thank you Uwe G. Quote
k morita Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Hi, I also think that it is kao. Quote
Curran Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 It is a Kao. It would be a lot of work to match it up with the artist, unless you see a name elsewhere. Still, it is possible if you have the Haynes Index. Just.... a lot of work. Koshirae looks nice, from what I can see. Don't lose those nice seppa. Quote
CSM101 Posted January 31, 2013 Author Report Posted January 31, 2013 Thank you all for your answers. Maybe one day I will be hit by a truck. And when I lay in hospital I look trough the Haynes-Index. But only then... Oh, I forgot my running gag: Mino-Goto??? Quote
Brian Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 Shosankenshu is easier to go through if you are trying to get lucky finding a kao. Has many of the main guys and is easier to navigate than Haynes. Brian Quote
Lindus Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 Kao or kakihan that is what it is,had an early book by I think Joly which had many translations,if right worth checking out. Roy Quote
