  1. Thanks for your replies i don't think its the 2nd gen Kunimasa as i found one of his mei online and there's some discrepancies, haven't found any oshigata of the 3rd an 4th gen kunimasa but i am starting to think Franco's right its probably gimei regards Chris H

  10. Thanks for your comments guys not sure of period, Kunihiro seems a common name. quite a robust blade, nagasa 77cm, kasane 8mm ,mihaba 35cm, sori 8mm. regards Chris H

    Hi guys thanks for you comments,I can see no flaws where the horimono is but how would you know? Nothing visible.I had another look at the sword last night and I am pretty sure it's never been signed.The other sword is one I posted on another thread. Regards Chris H

    Hi guys just thought i would share a few pics of a mumei katana i have, the nagasa is 76.2 cm, the sori is 15mm, mihaba is 32mm, kasane is 8mm and the kissakis 45mm i think its shin shinto any thoughts on its school or period would be much appreciated best regards Chris H

    hi guys would like to share a few pictures of my uchigatana mounted as a kodachi the nakago is suriage with two mekugi ana the mei is a single "ichi" surgesting that it is Ichimonji school. you thoughts on this sword would be much appreciated chris h
