He was very pleasured, that one of his swords come to germany. with his Granddaughter, who was able to speak and wrote english,he was happy to write to me and gave me some very nice presents, which I appericate so much. Finally he wanted my letters in his coffin, a great honor for me...

  12. Hello Friends I own two swords with this Haikan, other is a long 68,9 cm sword made by my long time friend Kotani Kenzo san, Yasunori. Sorry no marks, or stamps on the Haikan, I know that Bruce is looking for it, so he gets information from me about it all fittings are matching numbered 5 what can happen, if you'r not careful when handling the Japanese sword...! Always be careful Gentleman John as you can see the sword is dated march, showa 15.year... thank you!

Very rare NBTHK papered Kayijama Yasutoshi 69,9 cm Nagasa long in Mint condition, deep sori flawless original polish with utsuri with Hozon Silver foil Habaki and Silver Mon on the Kabuto Gane Koshirae is '98 pattern with unsual Haikan , not suya made I suspect because of the blades lenght... It must be a order made one of this lenght

Dear Friends This Kanenaga Tanto for Hitlers General Eugen Ott German Ambassador from 1938 to 1942, who passed away in Tutzing, Bavaria was in my collection for some years,'til I/trade it with Bill Rannow, "Art Swords" It was found at a juweler in Bavaria in 1998 If anybody is interested in this story, please refer "The case of the Spy Richard Sorge" Volker I had send the Tanto to NBTHK shinsa, and it received Hozon status, overall a nice historic piece

  20. stamp on a Gunto Typ 3 sayahanger/ Ashi. pictures shows two shin gunto Typ 3 sayahanger/ashi on the top one is a small stamp on it. perhaps someone knows about the meaning

  22. some more pics.. very beautiful its hada and hamon are swords nagasa is 63,8 cm Motohaba of 3,4 cm tickness is 0,79 mm long kissaki overall a very sturdy apperence....... Volker
