Dear Gentleman Short while ago I found this beautiful book from Yasukuni-shrine, tied in violet velvet... maybe someone here can help me to find out the meaning of this rare book.....?? Lot of photos inside... It seems to be about the importance of the yasukunishrine during the war.... Unfortunately my Japanese is too bad .... Thank you in advance! Volker

please enjoy with luck and the help of a former friend my cherished Yasunori( Kenzo Kotani san), Tanto, long in the collection of my Friend Herman Wallinga,who sadly passed away to much early....!!! signed Geishu( Geinan) ju Norimitsu saku and "showa shishi nen ni gatsu hi" Febuary 1932 This is his early signature prior to his entering the Tanren Kai It is 11 and 5/16 in lenght Hamon is beautiful midare in ko-nie, with nijuba and sanjuba in the monouchi, slight sori beautiful jihada of O mokume, mixed with Itame...Ji nie ubu Nakago with very nice horimono (not atobori) and dates to the dates to the baldes time of production..." dragon chasing the scared juwel"

According to the statement of the former, long time owner, friend and gentleman of the old shool, it is a miracle that this sword survived this war, at all researching where it was used with the wearer....!

Hi Rob Thank you, yes he was pardoned shortly after death sentence.... Own his Yasukuni-to with Koshirae and Tassel. I still find it historically interesting, to read such a military judment..

Judment of military court in Raboul on May 24, 1946.. Among those convicted is General" Ito Takeo", whose sword a Kajiyama yasunori,aka Yasutoku.... in rare 94 Gunto Koshirae

Hi Guys does anyone have a comparable fuchi from a very early '94 gunto Koshirae?? all parts are matching, with very thick Tsuba numbered #17 I have never seen this kind of fuchi, very high quality, blade is early shinto, Generals officers sword many thanks!

Dear Chris I've seen to much crappy, in connection with the jap. sword and we collectors with a little experience have a moral responsibility, to support newcomers in my opinion....! Especially here on the board,any support should be an asset for newcomers! If you put that into question, please do not answer in the previous way!! Thank you very much! Hi Neil very nice sword! congrats! that is really rare, a Yasukuni to with Aluminum saya! there is a Yasushige here with Aluminium saya in germany, but of rarer find!
