Hello Guys many thanks for your efforts!! some month ago I found this valuable old (dated 1928) highest quality book here in Germany on a flea market "commemorative book" exhibition was held for the relics of the Daimyos of the notheast district" learning from the past Count Date Okimune The picture on the left inside this book, shows the Ka Mon which we talk about here, perhaps someone can translate the writings around the picture. Perhaps it explains the further meaning to the Date clan here?? Thank you in advance!

  10. currently Aoi Art offers a nice Yasuoki which is in my opinion with Jishin siganture for comparison
  11. Nicholas the depicted Yasuoki looks Dai saku ,of what was written about this signature Han Bing Siong also wrote about Yasuoki's signature, one of his student's later named Yasumune often works and signed with Yasuoki's name, during Yasuoki's military servive
  12. Sarute from Minatogawa Tachi I remember very well a so called very "nice collector"(here in Germany) who forced me to buy a Kai Gunto from the Minatogawa shrine (the earliest known date August 1941) claiming I owed him something!! The first thing, he removed with scissor's was the original textile sarute!! I was very sure, the sword had now fallen into the right hands. However, it was more important to him, to resell it quickly for a lagre profit, even though he promised, he would never do that! Its a shame that there were enough idiot's back then who thought they had knowledgeand, out of ignorance destroy irreplaceable original's without coercion. Here's another original, that thank Godness didn't fall into the hands of such idiot's

  17. I don't think its irrelevant to know what an original looks,(unless you already know everything you need to know, to recognize what fake is, even a fake is well made. In my humble experience, you learn best, when you can compare with good originals.
