  4. His bling outfit when he was out on the town. They had more than one Koshirae for their swords. His taking care of business fittings would be much more subdued. Always wanted same* covered saya.

For the wandering Ronin who wants to grill that rabbit he stuck with kogatana he flicked from his Saya (think lone wolf).
  10. What he said especially hamon. My katana is a Kanetsune, the long line down in tsune is a indication of which Gen. Maybe Mel can help.
  11. Description said flower in a pot whereas I see a axe.
  12. Did a quick search here, wouldn't you know it it's covered with a tassle. I'll have too boot up the old PC. Least you can see the gold top
  13. I don't think rank related. I'll try something today show the one I had . It's more of higher end option. Mine had different color of metal also.
  14. I wonder if we have lost him.
  15. I'd just pay Ted T to fix it. To be done properly you'd have use rice glue. Yes you can make it the process is a thing. https://www.legacyswords.com/
  16. I seen in Translation forum the full nakago. You need to address the the large raised areas of rust asap. We want to preserve your sword You won't harm the nakago with wood tapping. It will flake off very easily. Your not beating it up just some good firm taps. Like Grey said linseed is a bit to thick ...please take time to work on the nakago. Is the rusty tsuba you posted about off this sword? A picture as requested needs to be shown before cleaning. Also a picture of blade as requested. Your getting help from members with decades of experience. We're here to help lets us do so.
  17. Didn't sell on ebay at $2500. Should give some kind of starting point. Few others out there with numbers and that 5
  18. Before oil use a wood spoon or like item to tap nakago lightly to remove flake rust it will serve no good to oil over raised red active rust.
