The mei reads "Endo Ichimonji (遠藤一文字)", I think.

The correct translation of the mei should be "Nara Ichimonji". Some of his blade are gendaito and other is non-traditional as oil temper. I have one tanto and perhap forged by this smith which the mei translated as :Kiku Ichimonju".

Thank you for correcting my mistake. I alway thought it was "Ichimonju" and not "Ichimonji".

Man.... that second kanji is a killer!!! Far too stylised for me!!!
