The name looks 求助 (Kyusuke) to me.

Is there such a Japanese name as 求助 Kyūsuke?

Both 来助 and 求助 are old-fashioned names, but I think that both could be possible.

There must be a smith signature at the other side.

I counted a total of six of these Hisakatsu tanto with wish jewels. There are certainly more of them.

Do you mean on an internet search, or NMB search?  I have two on file.  This one, a 1936 Hisakatsu posted by @Volker62
