I don't know if NMB has a lot of bayonet collectors.  If you don't get any help soon, try this like to The Gunboards Forum.  They have a lot of bayonet experts.

Yes both are worth about the same in terms of rarity. I would choose the top one, the bottom looks like the handle wood as been refinished. Top one might have been polished but looks more original overall
