What bothers me a little is you see many modern iterations of shuriken that look exactly shaped like that. So how to differentiate a real one from a cleverly aged one?

Best not to try.

 

I've got a great view from this minefield thanks, and I even know where some of the mines are and can sometimes recognise one when I see it. No point in going digging around on the other side of the fence.

I will stay away from this one, tough it is truly spectacular - there is simply no way of telling like this. If it had papers or something, I'd gladly buy it. I just hope i will not see this resurface somewhere for ten times the money :D
