Simple hack. No need to find a pen or something to push it down with.

Button should be something even the mildly handy can fabricate from copper.....a little patination and your good to go.

Field repair is fine, but with a little extra care a completely acceptable "restoration" is possible.... shouldn't be terribly time consuming.  I am sure you are more than capable of doing an excellent job, DRAGON HUNTER!

I've bought one in the past, but it's not a good fit. I'll take the spring part off the back of it and have someone spot weld it to my Mantetsu latch. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. Thanks guys!
