student Posted October 5, 2017 Report Posted October 5, 2017 Hello All, I hope this is appropriate to post here. I have no connection to the seller, just happened across the listings while browsing. Hopefully this will be of interest to some of you. I've just randomly picked one to link to since the store doesn't seem to have them separated out in a section. http://www.ebay.com/itm/OSAKA-SHINTO-NEMPYO-Japanese-SWORD-OSHIGATA-REFERENCE-BOOK-/362117942030?hash=item544fe94b0e Cheers, Peter G. Ken-Hawaii Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Yes, it's perfectly okay to post this type of eBay auction here, Peter. It would be nice if that store could separate these types of books, as I've found no way to segregate them using eBay's tools. Ken Quote
Surfson Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 I just bought one of the books and communicated with the seller. It turns out that it is John Slough's collection. Cheers, bob Quote
Ray Singer Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 That's very interesting, I bought John Slough's entire sword library (that he had with him) when he was living here on South Beach. I was not aware that he had additional references and would have expressed an interest had I known... I just bought one of the books and communicated with the seller. It turns out that it is John Slough's collection. Cheers, bob Quote

Ken-Hawaii Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Yeah, that worked better than my search, Stephen - thanks. I think he's making most of his profit on the shipping! Quote
