Fuuten Posted July 20, 2016 Report Posted July 20, 2016 Hi Everyone, Right now I'm burning some incense, for the first time. I got some sticks of Kyara Aloeswood Manichiko. Not the highest grade but the fragrance is quite nice, i just need to find a good place to put the burner:) Anyway this made me wonder if there are others doing the same. Maybe someone who can recommend some reasonably priced (not in the hundreds), Japanese incense? Also, what do you use for filler if you have a ceramic incense burner with a lid? Is the typical ash filler recommended? I was thinking about rice, but i didn't have any. Maybe a few small pebbles? Anyway thank you for reading, and suggestions welcome. 1 Quote

Fuuten Posted July 21, 2016 Author Report Posted July 21, 2016 Malcolm, thank you for your reply. Any specific kind you like? Axel, PS, don't really see any prices on the site, you have to mail them for a quote - or is it only sold in stores? In that case i don't think i have one near me Quote
Baka Gaijin Posted July 21, 2016 Report Posted July 21, 2016 Hi Axel You have to contact them with a request for prices. Alternatively there is also Nippon Kodo: http://www.nipponkodostore.com/ Cheers 1 Quote
John A Stuart Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 I use only ash, except with my electric censor for wood chips. John Quote
