Brian Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Fine for me. If it goes down, it will only be for a few minutes. They have to maintain their millions in profits. Brian Quote

kusunokimasahige Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 No problems here. I generally use ebay.com, never the national Ebay pages. KM Quote
Stephen Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Posted September 14, 2014 KM, you had a bid in would you check ending please? Quote
kusunokimasahige Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Seems like connection is reset at random. End bid on your tsuba set was : 101,00 US$ reserve not met. For future reference these sites may be handy : http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ebay.com.html Quote
kusunokimasahige Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Done. See above Stephen. KM Quote

kusunokimasahige Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Most welcome Stephen. Yes, that is the downside of Online auctions. I often lost due to a time difference. KM Quote
Brian Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Analyzing eBay and past experience shows the best time to end an auction is Sunday at 20:00 PST. Brian Quote
Thierry BERNARD Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 still have some problems to connect to ebay! Quote
kusunokimasahige Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Some news for sellers (for what it's worth) : http://tamebay.com/2014/09/how-will-eba ... ydown.html Quote
Soshin Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Hi Everyone, eBay is also down for me on the east coast of the USA at 8:38 AM. I wonder if this is a cyber attack on the companies servers? I mostly sell/trade things on NMB or at Japanese sword shows. While I no longer sell much on eBay I do buy on the site so this does affect me. Quote
Stephen Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Posted September 14, 2014 all my sells come at last few sec., sell lost! now I wonder if my snipe on a wak for son's project wont take. NOT a happy camper here, on a larger scale if a attack, it will have a major impact on economy. Quote
John A Stuart Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Working for me guys. John Quote

hxv Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 As of now, 8:00am Pacific Time, Ebay doesn't work with my laptop, but is perfectly fine with my Android tablet. Hoanh Quote
Brian Posted September 14, 2014 Report Posted September 14, 2014 Loads fine for me, but things like logging in and other features are not working. Yes..they have problems, and it is going to cost them a lot of money. My sympathies lie with the customers and sellers. Not with eBay We'll survive a few hours without eBay. Hopefully sellers will be compensated. It's not really news or a crisis. Brian Quote
Stephen Posted September 14, 2014 Author Report Posted September 14, 2014 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Japanese-Sword- ... 1319639267? relisted, and fees charged Quote
