Translation help - Fujiyasu Yoshiomi?

I would kindly ask for your help.

I tried to translate this Mei but I am very unsure because I can´t find any information about this smith.

The Nakago is also in a very bad shape (no yasurime....). Therefore my first idea was it is a chinese fake but on the other hand, but just my 2cent, the Mei seems cut not from a chinese guy?!

 

My translation is Fujiyasu Yoshiomi or Yoshitomi 藤康 義臣

Yoshiomi seems to be a more common way to read it in general.

Hi Klaus,

I think you are correct...this looks "wrong". Maybe a Chinese copy with the kanji written with a dremel tool. There seems to be deep cuts but no "chisel's pillow"...IMHO.

This seems that its not a chinese fake (showa stamp....). But not sure if the tang and the blade from the link above is from the same sword

Now its relisted!

 

By the way, I have no intention to buy this blade! It was/is just a translation exercise.

That's not the one in the auction. Totally different nakago, and that one has yasurime.

I would bet this is a fake. The kanji are wrong, the lines are off.
