  1. Thank you. If you have nakago jiri picture please share. What's nice here is some lines looks like writing brush. I had theory that only 2 kanji mei or with dedications [slough/example F] are made as tachi but no longer viable.
  2. Niji mei [tachi] nakago jiri different then samuraimonkey video example.
  3. Another sanji mei [katana mei] aoi Japan 2015 https://www.aoijapan.net/katana-emura-saku-4/
  4. Emura tokyo nihonto 2024 with bad polish https://tokyo-nihonto.com/products/antique-Japanese-sword-katana-signed-chounsai-emura-hozon
  5. Old thread with many great examples. And example from aoi Japan from around 2014. Tachi mei 3 kanji. So sanji mei exists as both katana and tachi mei types. https://www.aoijapan.net/katana-emura-saku/
  6. You must be really deeply disturbed one. I'm posting many different swords. So I want them all?
  7. I don't like being involved in any drama. You all treat those blades like being superior then any other RJT or gendaito.
  8. Dee I asked for date translation not for knowledge from "woy" site. And there is an info that he left in Showa 15 so 1940.
  9. This one have tokuho.
  10. He really have some more https://ebay.us/m/bzIyx4
  11. What date is on nakago?
  12. Mekugi ana is wide. Like koshirae was fixed for another blade. Yours have centered chuso?
  13. What about fukure? Could you post close up? Looks for me like grain pattern isn't different around and you see another one opening along.
  14. Leather haikan with civil saya version? Sarute was a selling argument here. Please notice mismatched fuchi with chuso ana. I sometimes wonder if this is good condition or modern replica.
  15. Adding similar theme example for comparison. https://ebay.us/m/MiYD9K
  16. Ex showa22 sanji mei
  17. Valuable topic! Please more on hada etc.
  18. Thank you John. It was explained to me before as I was compering mei in Tom Kishida's "The Yasukuni swords" book [page 14 and 61] and on "The world of Yasukunito" site. Example for Yasutoku on site is exact same as on page 14 [Yasunori] in a book. I made this thread for opinion about what was done with this blade after previous auction.
  19. Then Yasutoku https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/205719402_ww-ii-Japanese-katana-morristown-nj Now Yasunori https://ebay.us/m/mbgYo3 Caveat emptor. It dsn't look as professionally repolished. Yasutoku/Yasunori? Is this "upgrade" validates jump from 2500 to 7500?
  20. 2 piece.
  21. I found another example of longer mei. Again longer signature katana mei. Mr @Bruce Pennington what kind of assembly is this? Black lacquered T98? Open tsuba with centered chuso. Saya appears to be metal? Different degree of wear on tsuka and saya parts points that it could be random assembly [saya from "souvenir NLF"]
  22. Koiguchi and haikan. If you find more different drop here.
  23. I got second example of Emura so I can add pictures for comparison. Lower is individual order. Please bring more examples.
