    Usally I don't grab small arms koshirae but this tiny piece looks like custom order blackened one. Tsuba is in bad shape but haikan was a sell. rubber addon. Maybe saya would be metal.

    I'm more confused about prices. Was 1k each and now it's 1,5k. You should convince seller not to worry about inflation and that after trade agreement dolar will recover shortly.

    I posted @Jussi Ekholm list. How much in % of all swords in public market he couldn't put there? How much can be in private collection which never surfaced?Those numbers are intetesting as He gathered less then 16k swords below jidai 1450.

    Its torokusho. Check this reference for more answers. It indicates blade being made in traditional way. https://www.jssus.org/nkp/japanese_sword_laws.html But I myself have trouble with understanding what "traditional" mean in relation to shinsaku era swords.

    Very important advices and from me more important one above all else - check sellers stock. If seller have many photos done in different ways he is reseller. Now you decide to go simple way and still buy it or look in an ocean for original offer. It can save you some $ and give fun.
