  1. let's take this tsuba. fake or original?
  2. yes, there is always something new. :-)
  3. To me, the tsuba looks legit. I think someone drilled through the sakura flowers and then filed them. For whatever reason.
  4. Hello, I did not want to create a new topic. Therefore, I post the found tsuba here. My question is if any of you have seen such a version of WWII Tsuba before or has anyone filed the boar eyes themselves!?
  5. Found another Tsuba but with a signature. Sho-shu Hagi-ju Nakai ?
  6. Inna, you have a nice sword from WWII. The fittings are also from WWII and is the "civilian gunto" variant. In my opinion, the iron tsuba could also be a variant of the "civilian gunto tsuba". I find them beautiful and very interesting.
  7. https://www.ebay.com/itm/324664988937?hash=item4b978a9509:g:YxwAAOSwRptgs5nP
  8. The tsuba is not mine. I found it on ebay. I find the small details interesting and how they differ. Hopefully we will find more examples.
  9. Hello Everyone, I would be happy if someone could help me with the translation of this beautiful tsuba.
  10. Also from me a big thank for this excellent work. Great information and now I know more about the Masakuni sword (page 14) :-) Thank you!
  11. I just wanted to say thank you to Sham and Bruce before we continue here :-)
  12. From the seller I have received only these photos. Unfortunately, details can not be seen well.
  13. Yes, unfortunately you can not see the Iijima stamp so well. I know there are different versions of Kokura cannon balls, but I think this one looks completely different.
  14. Thank you Jean, for putting me on the right track :-)
  15. Hello everyone, I think this Mei reads Michihiro, but not 100% sure.
  16. Gendaitō in Rinji Seishiki Koshirae made by Hiromasa, his real name is Kamematsu Toriō (1908-1953). Nice Choji-midare of Bizen-school. I have never seen this color combination on a Rinji Seishiki Koshirae before.
  17. I found this gunto with an unusual kojiri. Has anyone seen one of these? Are there any other examples?
