  2. No,I think Ray is right and its seen a few polishes, It would probably have been much straighter when original. I don't see any core steel though in the pics.
  3. Missed another photo I like this tanto primarily because its a moroha style, from what I understand it was signed by two smiths as a collaberation?

  11. All, I recently sold a sword to a potential buyer who is now filing a claim with paypal stating the sword does not match the description of the item, and that I misrepresented it. Im concerned he may be trying to defraud me of the payment for the item by sending me a different sword back in the returns process. Any advice?

  17. Its a regular kogatana. I inherited it from a friend. On a side note i do have a dai kogatana, and im looking for an o kozuka for it too.
  18. So I have a kogatana signed Shizu Saburo Minamoto Kaneuji [ https://nihontoclub.com/smiths/KAN2863 ] That I am having polished by Ted Tenold. He recently informed me there is a small crack on the mune about 1 cm from the tip, well inside of the yakiba and not near the boshi. I am not sure if I should continue with having it polished, or if I should have him quit there. What is yalls concensus?
  19. It took about 4 months but they are finally done! I went with the koki murasaki chirimen silk as the poll results suggested, I love the way they turned out!
