Here is a Tsuba I bought in Kyoto. I know that a part of the signature means "Shoami" but I cannot read the other Kanji - unfortunately they are very hard to read due to alterations of the Nakago-Ana. But maybe some of Gentleman on this forum has an idea?

Signature is best in Photo Nr 3

Maybe 重信 (Shigenobu).

Well, Shoami artists had 正 'Masa' as a nanori quie often, which is what yours' seems to have. The next is just too obliterated to guess. John
I see Shigenobu from above. There were a few Shoami Shigenobu as well as Masanobu. 'nobu' does seem to fit and I'll take Koichi san's idea over mine any day. J

Not sure if this helps, but the second kanji looks like it might be NORI.

I looked up my old copy of HARA 1905 and see there was a Shoami MASANORI p.72 who used two different MASA kanji (see pic 1).

There was also a SHIGENORI p.150, but I don't think he was Shoami...(see pic 2)....Shigenori also used the name RIUSEN p.140 (see pic 3). These smiths worked in Kyoto.

Hope this helps?
