Grey Doffin Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Dan, Your pictures are way too large. If you want help from us you should learn to take smaller pictures and also to crop them. Grey Quote

Grey That is one of my character flaws, I try too hard! Everything I do is to the extreme. I guess I thought bigger is better. Thanks for pointing out a better way. Thanks John. That was really fast. Question??? What is the second character down on the left side above what John translated? It is the same character on my 4 character tanto as well. Much appreciated everyone! Dan Quote
John A Stuart Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Here it is more easily handled. John Quote
John A Stuart Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 長州 Choshu 萩 Hagi 住 Ju. On the left side I can't reconcile the kanji 井 at the start. 井庄左衛門 making that Ishozaemon. John Quote
Nobody Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 The name on the left is 井上正左衛門 (Inoue Shozaemon). Quote
