Matsunoki Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago The body looks like stoneware (a very tough hard wearing ceramic) which is commonly used for these bottles. Satsuma is a far softer earthenware body that will not withstand the rough handling that these often encounter! Date is difficult…..possibly Taisho …..but still made today. Quote
