Not strictly sword related but any help with this would be much appreciated.

 

I think the second word is kitaeagetaru- hammer; the last- kanji-ta-no-something-na-ri.

 

The signature first name seems like Ubuya-something-ta- ????

 

As you can all see not much progress.

 

Many thanks to anyone kind enough to take this on.

Nice!! scroll.

The Japanese Waka poem is written in this hanging scroll.

 

Meaning is (free translation):

The Budda forged tachi-sword are National treasures for ever in our country.

Thank you so much for that great, great translation! What a nice thing to have written on the scroll. I'm going to try to print a copy of your work and paste it inside the scroll's box.
