Brian Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 There's a small chance I may be going to assist someone to sell some high end armor. Hmmmmm 3 Quote

Brian Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 Anyone who has been before, has it been in this location previously and is the hotel it's in the best option for staying at? Quote

We stayed in the Karel V hotel at last year's JAF, not cheap but top class, rooms, breakfast & catering all very good and of course very convenient to be on the spot. Pierre 2 Quote

It's a 5 star rated hotel just to give you some idea. $$$$$ I take my campervan so no worries on the overnight arrangements. The event has been held at the hotel every year except for the inaugural one (the 2nd might have been at the conference centre too but 99% sure it wasn't) Quote
Brian Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 So where is convenient to stay if you are exhibiting? Don't want to be Ubering everywhere just to get there and back. Any recommendations that are convenient and still decent? Quote

Any recommendations that are convenient and still decent? There is a Inntel Hotel in the centre of Utrecht https://www.inntelhotels.nl/utrechtcentre/. They give a reduction in price when you have a JAF ticket. It is next to the Utrecht Central Station, a 15 minute stroll from the Karel V. Pierre 2 Quote
uwe Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Will be there for the third time… There are several hotels in the proximity of the venue, but you have to book early! Carel V is the most convenient, but quite expensive… Guess I know this collector, Brian 1 Quote

If somebody wants to get in for free, just send me a PM! Thats very generous and a great opportunity for someone who can make the show. Might be worth mentioning which days are covered. The tickets are personal so it is probably necessary to contact the organisers to transfer the new attendees name prior to the Show. Not long now. Can't wait. Edited May 10 by Lewis B 3 Quote
Teimei Posted May 10 Author Report Posted May 10 Ticket is for the whole fair, opening ceremony included. Just checked the Tickets and could not find any mention of personalisation. Quote

Was the Shinsa option selected This is what I found on the JAS site. All tickets are non-refundable and personal. Visitors may be required to show valid proof of identity upon entry. Quote
Teimei Posted May 10 Author Report Posted May 10 No Shinsa. Had nothing worth the hassle. Okay, my fault for not Reading it. 1 Quote
Luc T Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago This JAF fair edition is something special for the Japanese Armor Society. For the very first time, a shinsa will take place outside Japan. 3 Japanese NKBKHK shinsa members will come over to evaluate armor related items. The team will be in contact with the Japanese jury during the evaluation. Unfortunately, the session is fully booked, I hope we can do this again in the future. For the record, since last Year the NKBKHK is recognised by the Japanese Governement. 2 Quote
