Gakusee Posted May 30, 2022 Report Posted May 30, 2022 Well done to the Gaijin! Very, very impressive accomplishments! And thank you, Dirk for flagging it. Quote
Curran Posted May 30, 2022 Report Posted May 30, 2022 This is at least the 2nd time Mr. Broderick has been recognized, yet I have never seen an image of his work. Anyone able to share an image either here or PM? Quote
DirkO Posted May 30, 2022 Author Report Posted May 30, 2022 I would imagine his work will be in the NBSK publications, however I don't have any of the more recent ones. Would also be interested to see the other entries for non-natives. Quote
Ch_Kopp Posted June 19, 2022 Report Posted June 19, 2022 I'm using this post as an opportunity to share a picture of my contribution. The original template for this piece is probably an Akasaka Tsuba. The flowing design represents a Waka poem from the Kokon Waka Shu 古今和歌集: ほのぼのと明石のうら朝ぎりの島かくれゆくふねをしぞおもふ "In the bay, of Akashi, when the day is drawing to an end, my thoughts follow a boat which disappears behind an island in the mist." Thanks Christoph 12 2 4 Quote

Jussi Ekholm Posted June 20, 2022 Report Posted June 20, 2022 Congratulations Christoph, and thank you for posting your entry as well as an explanation for it. Quote
