Vaccaro Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. I received it from my grandfather and would like to know more about it. Thank You, Sean Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Welcome Sean! While we wait for the translators, could we all get some pics of the whole blade, without any fittings; plus a shot of the tsuba (handguard) laying flat? I assume no writing on the other side? Jean Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 It smells… Nakago looks wrong, shinogi (central ridge linel) looks wrong, yasurime (file marks) look wrong. It looks like a gunto but the mei (signature) is far from the ones I have seen. of course, I admit I don’t know a lot about gunto🙂 1 Quote
