Itomagoi Posted November 17, 2020 Report Posted November 17, 2020 Hi, I would like to translate this mei. Can someone please help me. Thank you very much in advance. Quote
SteveM Posted November 17, 2020 Report Posted November 17, 2020 As Klaus says 勝則 Katsunori (swordsmith) on the opposite side 昭和二十年二月 Showa nijū-nen nigatsu (Showa 20, February) 1 Quote
Itomagoi Posted November 18, 2020 Author Report Posted November 18, 2020 Hey, thanks a lot for the help Klaus and Steve. I really appreciate the accurate translation from you, Steve. Thank you. At this moment I am trying to find something about katsunori. But I can only find the Rikugun Jumei Tosho Tottori Katsunori. This is a Gunto with oil hardening and seki stamp. Does anyone of you have more information about this katsunori? Quote
Stephen Posted November 18, 2020 Report Posted November 18, 2020 The chippy strokes tells us its done most likely by factory workers. It wont be any more than a showato blade. 1 Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted November 19, 2020 Report Posted November 19, 2020 Peter, I would appreciate a picture with the Seki stamp showing for my Stamps Survey! Quote
Itomagoi Posted November 20, 2020 Author Report Posted November 20, 2020 Of course, Bruce. PM send. Quote
