Help to read what paper certificate it is for Katana & Tsuba

both papers are NBTHK Kicho papers. 

 

the swordsmith is Masamitsu

if you research Masamitsu i bet you can figure out the rest of the sword inscription, it starts with the place/province where he lived

 

hope that gives you a start, have fun, i think it is good to learn

Hi Piers,

 

How old papers is it and is it only Kicho.

 

I stil need help identifying the time period of the sword, the writing in kanji and also the name of Tsuba (is it made by the smith?)

 

1. Katana
2. Tsuba....
