Hi,

I have a fairly normal (but nicely finished) Meiji period Sword Cane Koshirae that has some kanji on the bottom. Although I can read most of the kanji like hisa and tada, I cannot put it together to decipher if it is a maxim or the sayashi's signature.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

Barrie.
