This is a fuchi kashira by Goto Ryujo Monjin Furukawa Yoshinaga (TBH paper). It is published in, 'Studies in Kyo Goto'. It is part of my permanent collection.

Sorry if the picture isn't that great but I don't have a camera.

Hi Pete K.,

Really nice fuchi-gashira set. :D In regards to the poor photo please send the set to Richard K. G. to have professional photographs taken. He let me have the photographs he did of my new katchushi tsuba. The lighting was just wonderful on both photographs and something I can't duplicate with my combinations of equipment and skill.

Pete,

Please...more pics when you get a chance. Those are scans of a book or using a cellphone....?

I would really love to see closer pics of those pine trees and surface ground.

Yes, that level of work, you keep in your collection for sure. I have the book, will look them up.

Brian -- it's a scan of the sales page. I don't have a camera but I'm working on it and yes, you can't appreciate the details/nanako without a proper image. I'll post one ASAP. Back in the '70's I was in the field doing medium/large format photography but of course now all is digital so I have some work to do.

Pete,

Thanks for sharing this set with us. :thanks: I am most fond of tree/moon scenes on fittings. The composition of the set is fantastic.

I too would love better pictures. I second the request to send them to Richard with the addendum that I may drop into his studio since I'm only a couple miles from him. :glee:
