Translation help

Can anyone help with this mei?

I know it should be easy but I can't get it.

Maybe, 盛 mori, ?, 宗 mune. I can not read the area where the ana is. John

That seems very likely, perhaps one of the Bizen Osafune group. Can we see some blade pics? John

The mei looks much younger than 14th-15th c to me. There is raised, rather sharp-looking burr in the lowermost strokes of the 景-kanji... I'd imagine that would have been worn out during the centuries...

Thanks guys, I thank you for all the help. I did not get the piece so don't have pictures but I really appreciate your time.

It looked like a nice blade , but was covered in dry rust and in need of a polish.

My take was 15th-century, It had a simple Horimono and had seen many polishes.

Maybe Better luck next time.

I read it as Morimune at first glance from the auction photos, but think the suggestion Morikage is perhaps more correct.
