    Both the tang and all parts of the tsuba are stamped with a matching number: K797 The parts of the tsuba also have an ampersand ‘ &’ stamped on them.

    Thanks Bruce I added a little Choi oil after cleaning It was a good idea to use mineral spirits not bad for a Nco sword made in 1939 And by the way I appreciate all your help regarding swords I posted

    Ok Since I’m desperate for money so I’m knocking off another 300.00 2500 to 2200 + 50.00 shipping there’s nothing wrong with sword !! Other than it’s a Nice Bizen Sword by Sukesada in Excellent Condition with custom mint custom Navy Scabbard and hardware include Navy tassel which has some fraying how ever the 2 tassels are fine
