Thanks guys I did some digging and dose day high class tamahagane read what I found to me looks promising? Special feature : Bisyu Osafune Munemitsu was a second son of the Rokuro zaemon Sukemitsu and moved around Japan with his his older brother Katsumitsu. Even though the signature is Bisyu mei but at that period all the swords were made by high rclass Tamahagane(Japanese iron) so the blade is very nice Jigane and Hamon. Akso beautiful wonderful engraving on the Ji. I think the blade was used by religious ceremony or high ranking Samurai.

I read about another sword that is a kanbun and it’s not as curved Anyway Provided it’s a kanbun sword I was thinking of getting it polished than I would hav 2100 into it but would a be beautiful Sword My next question is it worth 2100 after polish? -
Thanks Ray I’m thinking of having it polish but I hear negative stuff about this dealer and want to be sure iAlso is this smith known for making decent sword other than the wrong signature And because of the engraving I would think it’s more rare and adds more value ? komonjo if the dealer Any added information would be greatly appreciate since I don’t to lose money

Yes Agree probably shouldn’t use the word good I should read more how ever I have a couple of books and been buying and selling swords for 7 years so I at least have the basics I know these older long swords by known smith from good school holds value provided it’s condition ! I figure it would help to get feed back from more experienced persons would be helpful !I don’t want to make a huge mistake! I wish there were places to buy swords other than EBay ! Pickens are slim on the forum and some dealers want way too much If I can find a nice traditional navy with out any issue for a fair price I would be a happy camper Thanks
