There were several Bizen Norimitsu. All were from Osafune, and their working periods ranged from about 1300, to 1600. There were also many kuwana uchi made to imitate the blades of Norimitsu.

I believe ten generations
-
Yes I know there were many over time I thought At least you might be able to see if it’s a Gimei

Unless I’m not seeing this It looks more like stainless??? So just some help would be appreciated Probably a waste of time! This is bull s**t and misperception if it isn’t what it claims and should not be listing it if that’s the case thanks

Good information thanks I will be doing more research rather then counting on the seller I thought I had a gem and was going to even get it polished! Just glad I got good feedback A lesson to be learned I did not hit the buy button so I didn’t actually purchase it I don’t think this issue needed hav been brought on the forum For what it’s worth I apologize not buying this sword ! My intentions were good but was wrong I should have waited until I found more information! I just got excited thinking it was a high end sword for a cheap price -

Accusing people with out having the facts are wrong! The sword that was posted technically was the wrong description meaning Gimei ! I told this seller their were very knowledgeable people on the forum who said it was a Gimei !! Had I known it wasn’t the actual smith I would never bought it? I thought I was doing him a favor by bringing this to his attention ! Misrepresentation The proof is in the pudding -

Ok supposedly is a true main-line Hizen-to I'd expect it to be priced much higher than $2K And it’s one of the best swords I’ve posted Despite being a gimei 2000 is expensive for a gimei my head is about to explode !’ Now I think it’s not worth paying 2000 and should pass -
