  1. Just be patient and they will come along One of these cost me 75 euro, and 175 the other, I also have a 200 euro Waki so my 3 sword collection cost 500 dollars or so I have been offered substantially more for them but I like them so not for sale. It is all about the hunt for me Keep well and enjoy Ken
  2. Hi On my first joining he pestered me to sell to him at a great price (to him) , when I didn't sell he was he was quite abusive and tried to de-rail one of my threads in some form of petty revenge. I saw his name change and I would not use the reference to Germany, I like to define people as people with no reference to countries of origin. Keep well all, Ken
  3. Hi Sword sold for 1200 euro, once I saw the bad ripple in the blade I was no longer interested and was happy to let it go. The seller said the condition was very good and did not mention the bend at all. I hope buyer will be happy with what they are going to see. Regards All Ken
  4. Hi Viewed the sword and there is a bad bend and a ripple in the blade, I decided not to bid to hard on the sword, would 600 euro still be ok? Thanks Ken
  5. Thanks Guys, You have always been very good to me in the advice so I will consider what you are saying and the weekend will reveal the next step in the story you all did right by me on this one (below) so I might get lucky, still have this sword and i still brings me happiness to own it Ken
  6. Hi Thanks for the comments. These are only pictures available at moment before I make an offer, If I spent 800 do you think I could recover my costs at a later stage when I want to move the item on? Regards, Ken

  8. Hi All Well this is all I have to go on, so I would really appreciate your opinions on this sword, No pictures of tang and I can see the menuki pin is reasonably accessible so I am wondering if something lies underneath that is not desirable. So can any one educate me as to what this is and is it worth going after I was thinking of around 800 euro as a gamble. Much appreciated as ever. Ken
  9. Hi Simon, I was not having go at you, apologies if it came across as same. Regards, Ken
  10. Hi All The Tanto went for 420 euro I stopped at 400 as there was not much information to go on and the opportunity to view in hand was not possible, Thanks though for the responses and the encouragement to bid a bit more Regards Ken
  11. Personally I would not look at beheading civilians with hands tied behind their back "Combat" Regards Ken
  12. Hi All The last 2 comments seem a bit unfair, I collect all sorts and value this community but I dabble and gamble on these things. I do spend proper money also on my collecting but if I know nothing about an item then go in cheap. I am too busy with all sorts to devote the time to read and research so books are wasted on me. I do however pay for gold membership as a means of saying thank you to the community that is so willing and able to advise, so I am not too cheap. I will report back if get the item Regards Ken
  13. This is all the info you have to go on Should i flip the coin at 150 euro or not? Thanks in advance for the advice, I am sure you will be fair and kind. Regards to all Ken
  14. Thanks, You are a tough crowd I would not like to be breaking up with either of you in a relationship, Heartless ;-))))) I will put the money saved into my next gold membership renewal. Thanks Ken

  18. Hi All I have no information at all on this piece that a fellow collector has just purchased. These are all the pictures I have at moment but more can be provided if required. Any idea of age, smith and any other details you can provide. All opinions welcome. Regards, Ken
  19. Hi I have seen the cutting test cuts before but never noticed the loin cloth. Looking at the Drawing of the test victim I find it quiet bizarre/ironic that they are clothed. I wonder did they cloth the person or corpse when they were performing the cuts? Regards, Ken
  20. Thanks John So the smith is Iyo ju Fujiwara Munesada and sword dates from late 1600's Regards Ken

I will get dimensions later today off him Many thanks as ever Ken
