Please note that we the Gajin , were the first to have access to the Japanese sword and especially to the Japanese culture to this extent after WWII yasukuni shrine swords were a high quality product, (very expnsive) manufactered under strictspecifications and under the supervision of a appropriate experts in the spirit of the Japanese national pride of this time, in the spirit of Bushido. -

Rawa please keep in mind, that all swordsmith who were allowed to sign the" Yasu" were subjected to a rigorous selection process and had undergone serval years of training! To write about from a "pappered blade"(whatever this is?) made by a third rate Yasukuni smith is in my opinion inapprorriate, sorry! -

I'd like to avoid making a generell assessment here. I haven't seen or heard of a Yasukunishrine sword in this type 3 mount yet. (after over 35 years of collecting) But that doesn't mean everything! a few in Kai Gunto over the years However, I've occasionally purchased from Aoi Art over the past few years and have been sttisfied with both, the service and the product. -

Hello Guys many thanks for your efforts!! some month ago I found this valuable old (dated 1928) highest quality book here in Germany on a flea market "commemorative book" exhibition was held for the relics of the Daimyos of the notheast district" learning from the past Count Date Okimune The picture on the left inside this book, shows the Ka Mon which we talk about here, perhaps someone can translate the writings around the picture. Perhaps it explains the further meaning to the Date clan here?? Thank you in advance!
