  5. there are also beautiful moments from time to time recently I asked an "old companion" about this beautiful flag. Got his answer immediately,as usual.... to my surprise he wrote me, that he would like give this to me as a gift, a gift of friendship after many years! Doug thank you so much! Perhaps some one can help me to translate some of the meaning of the flag...! Thanks in advance!

  9. Bruce Unfortunately I have not been able to find out much about this Koshirae.. What a pity! maybe some guys here on the board know something about it? I my self saw one of these Koshirae with a "Juyo" fukuoka Ichmonji balde ,here in Europe
  10. thank you Bruce! really a piece to collect Owning an almost 400 year old blade with Ubu-Ha is something special, with this Koshirae..! I'm very proud and hope that it will get someday into good hands again!
  11. Hi Guys can someone give me more informatiom about this extremely rare Kyu Gunto Koshirae?? I only saw two of them..! in 32 years, Richard Fuller informed me, this is the first pattern Kyu Gunto, manufactured according European Models. My one is fitted with a beautiful TBH "Omi no kami fujiwara Tsuguhira shodai" Katana,with Ubu-ha, healthy well preserved old family treasure No metal seppa, leather made ones....

  20. Hi George I had owned two swords made by "Inari KoKaji Toshimitsu" from 30 swords made for the Inari Jinja in order of the Milirary. One is numbered 23 I guess from 30, signed "made for complete victory of the war" Other is a extra long Tachi,(around 80cm nagasa) made by Toshimitsu for Suzuki Matsutaro, who was the chief priest of the shrine, additional signature, "made for eternal piece" I can try to get the Oshigata from its Nakago for you, I left both swords to my long time collector friend and of course I'm interested in futher information
