Hello everyone,
I wanted some expertise and more informations on a blade, at first glance it looks authentic for a neophyte like me but some details look strange, what do you think?

Thanks.

thank you Mark, for my education: kurigata positioning on the scabbard, odd stamping and numbers are the clues here ?

Ditto on all the above. Stamps are upside-down on the fuchi, wrong place on the blade. Brass is almost always a giveaway (though there are some oxidized Nagoya tsukas that have a brassy tint). They are getting better on that Gifu stamp, but not there yet.

Thanks Mark, Steve and Bruce for your answers. I'm sad it's a fake but happy I didn't buy it!

A current comparison on the market -  later variant and it looks like the blade has been abused significantly,  but ... nice photos for stamp and serial number comparison
