cisco-san Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Hallo, as newbie I always try to learn Kanji, but it is soooo hard. Now I tried to read this one - but with no luck. My translation for the fist Kanji is 義 Yoshi and I think the second one is 広 Hiro. But I am very unsure, especially for the second one - even I can´t find some Showa swordsmith Yoshihiro?! Many thanks in advance. Quote

ottou812 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Slough's book listed it as Yoshitomi. Looks a little more like Takayama Yoshiomi: http://home.earthlink.net/~ttstein/yoshomi2.jpg Quote
John A Stuart Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Is this not the kanji found on Rich Stein's site for the nanori 'omi' 臣. Is it the same as on the sword above? John Quote
