Bugyotsuji Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Not sword related, so apologies in advance. Recently I bought a very small Netsuke carved in persimmon wood. It looks like a kettle or Kyu-su teapot. In very faint red urushi writing you can just make out some tiny faded characters on it. Almost impossible to photograph. I used a magnifying glass and picked out as much of the writing as possible. (Yes, I know, ...poor handwriting! ) Quote

Bugyotsuji Posted July 25, 2011 Author Report Posted July 25, 2011 Impressive.Liked the poem. Me too! I just showed the printout with a big smile to a couple of my Chinese exchange students but they had never heard of Lu Tong... :| Quote
