Rich S Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 I believe it reads: Yakumo Amatsu Masakiyo saku There is one similar on my oshigata page. IMHE blades signed in a semi-grass script tend to be pretty good blades. Rich S Quote

cabowen Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Amazu Masakiyo worked in Shimane. He was a good smith and had several students. He worked in the Bizen style with a uniform choji most common. I have seen many of his swords over the years and they are usually better than average.... Quote
W K Clifford Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Similar: http://www.e-sword.jp/sale/2009/0910_1076syousai.htm That is a terrible way to write 天. it looks more like 志. Quote
stephan_hiller Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 Hi Jason, can you please post some pics of the blade. Thanks, Stephan Quote
