A small question concerning geography :)

江府住:

I thought that it is "Efu-ju" and it means "from Edo".

But I've found recently that it reads as "Kofu-ju" - "from Kofu".

What is the correct reading/translation?

My understanding is as follows;

江府 (Efu) = 江戸 (Edo)

江府 (Kofu) – a town in Tottori-ken

江州 (Goshu) = 近江國 (Omi no kuni)

Thank you, Koichi-san!

I'm not sure, but I've found that Kofu (in Tottori-ken) was founded in 1953.

So, the inscription "江府" on tosogu should always mean "Edo". Am I right?
