Please look at the attached and tell me what you think this may say..... Maybe a Unit or Company Number  ?

I think the stamped mark is dai, for size large.

And maybe a partially struck shop logo in a diamond.

Thank You all Gentlement for your comments..   No doubt in my mind definitley an original WW2 authentic, original navy helmet.  Very Rare indeed.

There is an “S" in the diamond stamp is for Kobe Steel and the 大 is for size large. More information here:
